6 Weeks

Today marks 6 weeks since my little lady was born.  Besides being a big milestone for impending developmental achievements (smiling, better sleep, etc.) for Lily, it also was a big day for me.  This morning, all 3 of us went to my postpartum check-up. It was the first time I'd seen my doctor since delivery (funny how you begin to miss a doctor once you start seeing her once a week). The appointment went great, and I was sent home with no restrictions :)  Before we left, I got to snap this picture of Lily with the wonderful doctor who welcomed her into the world (please forgive the lovely poster in the background).
